A special issue of the world's leading environmental research magazine, featuring an informative toolkit about creating strong climate policies.
This issue of Resources magazine had a singular aim; providing a detailed and insightful climate policy toolkit that could serve as a reference for decisionmakers and staff in Congress and other organizations, as they work together to scale back emissions and help support a healthy environment and thriving economy.
The issue began with an infographic detailing the different sources of US greenhouse gas emissions and the sectors responsible, before going on to offer ideas and practical advice on building successful climate policy in each of these areas.
As with each issue, I created the layouts as well as contributing a number of infographics and illustrations. We also commissioned some amazing illustrators including Cyla Costa, who created our colourful typographic cover artwork, Peter Greenwood, who provided a wonderfully detailed top down illustration of the US transportation sector, and Michael Crampton, who depicted a gorgeous landscape filled with various types of land use in the United States.
